ACS Forensic Science Subdivision (FORS)
Mission
The ACS Forensic Science Subdivision serves scientists who apply chemical methods to the analysis of physical evidence in support of criminal and civil legal proceedings. We work to promote the informed and responsible use of forensic chemistry throughout the justice system by advancing transparent, independent, and ethical practice and empower future leaders.

The purpose of the Forensic Subdivision (FORS) is to provide a networking and programming unit within the ACS for forensic scientists and affiliated professionals as well as cultivate a community among these groups. FORS is focused on networking, professional development, programming, and recognizing excellence in the profession.
